I’d like to announce my new website that I’m building right now. FindInArticles.com.
This site is about articles, it crawls all known article directories, article publishing sites and gethers articles from them.
It has a really extensive categorical index. currently I have about 1000 articles but the number is growing daily.
I used Php / Mysql / Apache to build up the site. I’m planning to add some ajax toys by the time.
You can also submit articles too.

here is my list:

1)Flickr

Well duh! Yeah this one should be on the top of the list. Most of the images are public. You can use them. However it’s always good the notify the owner.

2)Stock.Xchang

This is my favorite. As usual there are different licences but usually they are royalty free.

3)Buzznet

This photo video sharing community has the taste of a photo blog. Featured photos are really cool. Worths checking.

4)PD Photo

Free Public Domain Photo Database what more to say. But watch out some pictures are restricted.

5)Open Photo

Categorical listed images waiting here.

6)Google Images

Not really a stock photo search but I sometimes use it too.

7)Free Stock Photos

mostly travel photos here.

8) Ourmedia

Besides the bad CSS implementation, its possible find good stuff at this side.

Well this is my list for free photos/images for blogs etc. My suggestion is: Always read the licences before you use the image.
