I am normally not linking to this kind of thing, but this is simply the best blonde joke I have ever read.

It seems like del.icio.us is suffering from failing harddrives :).
Excuse the smiley but it seems that because of a power shortage it’s a total shame to take a site like del.icio.us down.
Maybe they would have invested in some redundency.

Due to the power outage earlier in the week, we appear a number of continued hiccups. We’ve taken everything offline to properly rebuild and restore everything. I apologize and hope to have this resolved as soon as possible. Thank you for your continued patience.

ICANN is planning to release single letter domain names sometime in 2006.

It really doesn’t make sense to me.
But I guess they are trying to find a way to resell the existing domain names again…
